SHUTTER SPEED

Ok, so shutter speed is one of the control settings that controls how long or short the shutter stays open for, usually hundredths of a second. If the object is in motion then a longer shutter speed will show a blur of motion. A shorter shutter speed will freeze it. Shutter speed can show depth by sharpening a closer or farther away object. A longer shutter speed will also let more light in if it's dark out.
